Richmond Township
The Richmond Township Offices are located at 7812 S. Route 31, just south of Richmond Burton Community High School. For information about the township's transportation program please view our Senior Services Page.
Services Available at Richmond Township
Richmond Township Offices are open from 7:00 am through 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Some of the new services provided through the office are:
1. Voter Registration
2. Notary Services
3. McHenry County Dept. Health water sample program
4. RTA Passes
Some other areas of development we are addressing are:
communication, planned growth that focuses on groundwater issues and transportation and Pandemic Flu Preparedness.
Communication has included the development of a Web site and a newsletter. Both require some fine tuning, but we have begun. As we plan, the creation of the Planning Commission and Transportation Committee will be a vital aspect.
Thanks to a $5,000.00 grant, Richmond Township will better be able to educate our community on how an outbreak of a new and serious (global) flu virus would effect us. More facts and information will be coming in the near future.
