The
Richmond Inn, originally built in 1893, was completely restored in 1996
to its original charm, brilliance and elegance and opened as a bed and
breakfast.
Ideally situated just one block from the heart of historic downtown
Richmond, you can browse through the quaint shops, stroll through the
farmer's market, bike/hike on one of the many local trails or just watch
the clouds go by from a rocking chair on our front porch.
The Richmond Inn also offers a variety of luxurious spa services and
on selected dates, traditional English "high tea." If you
prefer simpler pleasures you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the
pristine grounds while enjoying your sumptuous breakfast; wrap yourself
in soft fluffy robes after soaking in a whirlpool tub or the Jacuzzi;
curl up in front of one of the many fireplaces with a cup of tea and
a good book chosen from our extensive library.
Additionally, the grounds offer five lush acres that are a combination
of wooded and cultivated areas with a private hiking trail, several
private picnic areas, raspberry patches, a fishing brook and 3 gazebos.
We are within 2 miles of 4 major area lakes and state parks. |
